The second annual Ice Bowl Ultra is in the books and a new course record was set on the Dead Zone 20 course in 2015!  Trent Cox from Waunakee, WI broke four hours in real Ice Bowl conditions on Saturday, February 14!

75 miles across the frozen waters of Green Bay or 20 miles along the eastern shore.

Watch for the 2016 date announcement – coming soon!

Runners depart Little Sturgeon Bay

The first ever winter race crossing the bay of Green Bay, the 20 or 75 mile distance event will surely test even the hardiest of souls.

The Ice Bowl Ultra aims to create a unique and unparalleled winter experience for ultra athletes who wish to have an adventure of a lifetime.  The race is a largely self-supported and non-stop traverse of the bay.  Test your grit.  It will be epic.
